OBJECTIVE OF NORTH PLATE YOUTH BASEBALL

To instruct and train the young player in the basics of the game, in a fun, low-key, competitive atmosphere. The emphasis in this program should be on a proper technique in throwing, catching, base running, hitting, and learning very basic knowledge of the game and fielding positions. At no time should winning or losing take priority over equal playing time, player safety, player improvement, or FUN. Encourage each player to set a attain both personal and team oriented goals. Teaching kids the desire to excel should be the main purpose.

Open to all boys and girls in grades PreK - 8th Grade during the 2022-2023 academic year. Players must attend school or live near the North Platte School District.

North Platte Youth Baseball is no longer affiliated with the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Baseball Leagues. We will no longer have a State All-Star Team, but we will have an end of season league tournament.

We are committed to adhering to high standards for coaches, parents, and umpires in their position as a role model to our youth.
